Annual Elko Mining Expo back once again

More than 300 exhibitors expected for event.

The Elko Mining Expo is returning once again to the Elko Convention and Conference Centers in Elko, Nev., from June 9-10.

The event, which pairs an exhibition floor with networking events, exhibits and technical sessions, has been an annual tradition since 1985. It has missed just one year, 2020, due to COVID-19, but returned in 2021 as an in-person show.

Show hours for the expo floor are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 9 and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on June 10. Sessions were still being compiled and finalized at press time, as was the final itinerary of attendee events. Both domestic and international visitors are once again expected to be on hand for visits with service providers, consultants, equipment producers, suppliers and more.

Organizers are not requiring registration for Elko 2022, but attendee registration via their web site at visitelko.com is encouraged. There is no cost to attend as a visitor. Lodging options can be reviewed at exploreelko.com/lodging.

“[Elko] is one of the oldest and most respected mining expos held in the United States, drawing international exhibitors and visitors to see and learn about the newest equipment and technology in the mining industry,” the Elko Convention and Visitors Authority – which serves as the event host – recently said.

“The Expo serves as both a professional networking opportunity as well as a community and industry appreciation event.”
