Golden Minerals Co. announced the pending retirement of the company’s Chief Financial Officer Robert Vogels, planned to occur around the end of 2021.
The Colorado-based gold and silver producer has begun the search for his replacement.
According to company President and CEO Warren Rehn, Vogels had a nearly 40-year mining industry career as a finance and accounting professional, including 12 years with Golden Minerals.
Golden Minerals is mining from its Rodeo operation and is advancing its Velardeña properties in Mexico and, through partner-funded exploration, the El Quevar silver property in Argentina. It is also acquiring and advancing mining properties in Mexico, Nevada and Argentina.
