Annual show returns to the heart of mining in the Silver State for the 38th time.
Summertime in northern Nevada is a tradition for many in the mining industry. From June 6-7, more than 350 exhibitors and thousands of attendees are expected to return to the Elko Convention Center for the Elko Mining Expo.
The event, now in its 38th year, was nearing sell-out status at press time for booth space at the facility’s convention center, conference center space and surrounding areas. Registration is not required for guests attending the expo, but it is highly recommended.
A now-full golf tournament will officially open the Elko Mining Expo on June 3-4, followed by an opening reception on June 5 sponsored by Liebherr. A special morning session on June 6 is also part of the event itinerary.
“The Elko Mining Expo is an excellent opportunity for suppliers to meet buyers and end users, creating a platform for sharpening professional skills and knowledge about the mining industry and the tools used to propel it into the future,” the Elko Convention and Visitors Authority, which organizes the annual event, said.
“Exhibitors include mining operators, consulting firms, service providers and suppliers of mining equipment and supplies. Visitors will be able to see a myriad of mining equipment and meet with the largest gold producers in North America.”
An app with vendor information and booth numbers is available for Android and IoS platforms. When arriving at the expo, look for the official Elko Mining Expo program and guide, produced in partnership with SEMCO Publishing and North American Mining magazine.
Registration for the expo, as well as hotel listing and a line-up of legacy exhibitors, is available at exploreelko.com.
