Positive prefeasibility study for Cactus mine project: Arizona Sonoran

Arizona Sonoran Copper has completed its NI 43-101 Prefeasibility Study (PFS) for its Cactus project in Arizona. The study outlines a lower risk, top 10 potential copper operation within the United States, producing LME Grade A copper cathodes onsite via heap leach and a solvent extraction/electrotwinning plant.

Average annual production is estimated to be 55,000 tons of copper, with a peak of 74,000 tons over its initial life of mine of 21 years. The Cactus project has proven and probable reserves of 276.3 million tons at 0.48% soluble copper.
