Evolution Mining has announced the appointment of Nancy Guay as chief technical officer, effective 1 June. She will be responsible for various technical functions including studies, projects, long-term planning, and technical services.
Guay has worked in various locations and roles within Canada and Australia. She most recently held the position of vice president – Technology, Optimisation and Innovation at Agnico Eagle Mines.
“I am delighted that Nancy has agreed to join Evolution as our chief technical officer. Nancy has extensive technical and operational experience in the mining sector for over 30 years. She will be a great addition to Evolution and our leadership team. We look forward to her joining us,” said Managing Director and CEO Lawrie Conway.
Guay has a bachelor’s in Applied Science, Mining and Mineral Engineering from Université Laval.
