Sedgman secures engineering contract for Eskay Creek

Skeena Resources has selected Sedgman, a wholly owned subsidiary of CIMIC Group, to deliver the basic engineering and feasibility study update for its Eskay Creek revitalization project in northwest British Columbia, Canada.

As part of the contract, Sedgman will support Skeena Resources to further optimize the overall project outcome, which involves flow sheet and site plan review.

“Sedgman has the experience necessary to safely and reliably deliver engineering resource projects in Canada and across the globe. We are pleased to be selected to deliver this stage of the works and further diversify in our key regions,” said Sedgman Managing Director Grant Fraser.

Eskay Creek is a former gold and silver mine that produced approximately 3.3 million ounces of gold and 160 million oz. of silver at average grades of 45 g/t gold and 2,224 g/t silver during its operation from 1994-2008.
