Coronado Coal expanding Virginia met mine

Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin has confirmed plans by Coronado Global Resources to expand the Buchanan complex in Buchanan and Tazewell counties to increase the mine’s capacity. Growing coal operation New Elk near Trinidad, Las Animas County, Colo., has completed its first loading of a second unit train, according to mine owner Allegiance Coal.
