Appalachian coal miner Corsa Coal has accepted the resignation of Robert (Bob) Schneid as its president and chief executive officer.
The company said the executive, whose decision to step down is effective Feb. 21, will be pursuing other interests.
As Corsa enters a formal process to find his replacement, it has appointed Kevin Harrigan as interim president and chief executive officer. Daniel Bonacci, the miner’s vice president of finance and treasurer, has been tapped to serve as interim chief financial officer, the role Harrigan is exiting to take over the CEO position.
