Black Mammoth Metals acquires America Mine

Canada-based natural resource company Black Mammoth Metals has completed the purchase of the America Mine Gold property in San Bernardino County, Calif., with a final payment of US$500,000. The company now owns America Mine with no royalties.

The property consists of four patented claims and 45 claims on Bureau of Land Management administered lands, totaling approximately 258 hectares (640 acres). Black Mammoth said the property was an “open-pit heap leach opportunity on previously disturbed ground.”

The company noted gold mineralization in the shear zone between the upper and lower plate; year-round access with a 3-kilometer-long dirt road from Amboy Highway; and sufficient water available and power to the site, 3-phase, 440 volt/1200 ampere. Further, San Bernardino is considered a mining-friendly county with over 50 active mines.
