Momentum is building for the 2025 Training Resources Applied to Mining (TRAM) conference, this Nov. 4-6 at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy in Beaver, W.Va. Every year at the conference, MSHA holds the Training Materials Competition.
There’s still time to submit your original training materials to the 2025 TRAM Training Materials Competition. The entry deadline is Monday, Sept. 1, 2025.
The competition is open to all developers of mining-related health and safety training materials and recognizes outstanding resources that help advance miner safety. Submissions will be evaluated for clarity, organization, technical accuracy, and relevance.
Top entries will receive MSHA Blue Ribbon awards, announced during the TRAM Opening Ceremonies on Nov. 4. Winning entries will also be made available to all TRAM attendees after the conference.
