The 20th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium, set for June 21-26 in Pittsburgh, Pa., has begun accepting abstracts for the biennial event.
The deadline to submit an abstract is October 15. The deadline for final versions of full manuscripts will be November 30.
Major topics include mine fans; dust control; diesel particular matter, mine fires and explosions; underground health and safety; atmospheric monitoring, ventilation system automation, environment heating and cooling, capital projects and case studies; and more.
