Schlam has announced the appointment of Sudhanshu Singh to the position of President – Americas.
Singh, who will also be a director and senior company officer of the Schlam Americas Company, will lead its growth strategy in the Americas region from Schlam’s Americas headquarters in Tucson, Ariz.
He will report to Schlam chair and group CEO David Haslett. He will be tasked with leading the groups’ global innovation and product engineering team, also located in Tucson, and from there support Schlam’s global operations.
“Schlam’s Americas Companies operate as self-sufficient businesses, highly capable of supporting local operations with the local leadership team and their associated operational teams,” the company said.
“Supported by an experienced American team, Sudhanshu will lead the key functions of sales, customer support, product engineering, manufacturing and supply chain management – all while delivering on the company’s purpose ‘to ensure those who rely on us have an exceptional experience’.”
Haslett confirmed Singh’s appointment completes its leadership team appointments in the Americas operations and will add momentum to its growing presence.
“He has a unique skill set, and an impressive track record leading mining product and technology companies globally. He has been responsible for driving the success of some of the most iconic global machinery companies, including at Terex, Bucyrus and Caterpillar, where he led the mining truck and dump body businesses.”
He was most recently senior vice president of SafeAI.
