Pennsylvania-based ASGCO announced in December 2020 that it had added the U-Scrape secondary belt cleaner to its product line-up of secondary cleaner solutions.
The design of the U-Scrape is in the name; it has a unique U shape that conforms to the belt’s return side, allowing the blade to maintain maximum pressure on the belt’s center and thus collect the most build-up.
The blade is offered in two options: solid urethane or with tungsten carbide tips embedded in urethane.
The U-Scrape belt cleaner is ideal for use in conveyor bulk material handling applications in coal and coal-fired power plants, aggregates, recycling, wastewater treatment, pulp and paper, and chemical processing.
