Voith Turbo celebrates 50 years of U.S. operations

Voith Turbo recently celebrated its 50th anniversary of the company operating in the United States at its York, Pa., location. 

The manufacturer began U.S. operations in 1975 in Appleton, Wis. Four years later, the company moved to Allendale, N.J., and in 1987, they moved to York. As its operations continued to grow, additional workshop locations opened in Sacramento, Calif., and Houston, Texas.

Voith Turbo’s U.S. operations specialize in the design, assembly and service of high-performance power transmission equipment and solutions for a range of industries, including mining.
