FLSmidth announced its mining products business line president Chris Reinbold will be stepping down from his role and leaving the company at the end of November.
The global company said it has initiated the processes of finding his replacement, a process it is hoping to conclude in the near future.
In the meantime, it has appointed Mike Lefler to his seat as interim president; he will support the day-to-day leadership of the products business line. Lefler currently serves as vice president and head of FLS’s separation product group. He has been with FLSmidth for more than 12 years.
“Since the launch of our CORE’26 mining strategy, Chris [Reinbold] has played an instrumental role in de-risking and implementing structural improvements within our mining products business,” the company said.
Reinbold had been with the company for more than four years. The impetus for his departure was not released.
