Xylem will display advanced technologies from across its pumping portfolio, including Flygt, Godwin and Goulds Water Technology brands, dewatering filter presses for tailings management and treatment systems for contaminant removal all designed to help mine operators meet discharge regulations, improve operational efficiency and manage costs.
The company will introduce its latest Flygt smart pumping solution to the North America market, a monitoring and control system that drives automation in mining applications, reducing equipment life cycle costs, and improving the reliability and safety of pumping operations. Xylem’s Flygt Bibo Alpha, a dewatering pump with integrated intelligence which delivers energy savings of up to 60% compared to traditional dewatering pumps, will also be on display.
Xylem’s experts will deliver presentations on topics including smart mine water management, mine water treatment, and sump design, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24, and Wednesday, Aug. 25.
