ACC updates Coal Leadership Council

The American Coal Council’s (ACC) Coal Leadership Council (CLC) program, formerly known as Tomorrow’s Leadership Council, has been updated and the new initiative will kick off at the Miami Coal Conference in February 2024.

The group noted that it will be hosting quarterly business information sessions for CLC participants on topics such as financial issues, marketing, workforce, advocacy and the supply chain.

Additionally, CLC participants will receive complimentary registrations to each of the strategic industry issues conferences hosted by the American Coal Council: the Miami Coal Forum (February 20-22, 2024 in Miami, Fla.) and the Coal Market Strategies Conference (August 13-15, 2024 in Park City, Utah).

At both conferences, members of the CLC can attend a professional development program conducted by an expert facilitator. Seminars are designed to advance professional skills and focus on a variety of areas including coal-focused communications, management and leadership.

Finally, the CLC participants will identify, collaborate and present a project of industry relevance. For those wishing to register, a link is available here: Register Here.

The group’s CLC program was first launched in 2009 as an opportunity for extraordinary individuals throughout the coal industry to enhance their industry knowledge and networks through projects and activities that advance industry-wide objectives as well as professional development goals.
