First hole of the year completed at Bonnie Claire

Nevada Lithium Resources said its 50% partner in the Bonnie Claire lithium project, Iconic Minerals, has completed the first drill hole of the 2022 exploration program with a final depth of 2,001 feet (610 meters).

Iconic is the operator of the initial joint work program, which is estimated to cost $5 million.

The first batch of 216 geochem samples extracted from the core hole has been sent to ALS in Reno, Nev. for analysis. The sample material consists of PQ and HQ quarter-core with approximately 10% of the samples submitted for assay comprised of QAQC samples.

Nevada Lithium said vibrating wire piezometers have been set in the core hole during abandonment to gain a better understanding of the groundwater flow in the basin.

Bonnie Claire is located in Nye County, Nev., and is considered one the largest lithium resources in North America.
