Biennial event’s theme in 2025 will be ‘Connecting Buyers and Sellers’

The Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias has announced the return of the Bluefield Coal and Mining Show, scheduled for September 10-12 at the Brushfork Armory Civic Center in Bluefield, W.Va.
The show, today held both inside and outside of the armory facility, has been in existence for nearly 50 years. The original Coal Shows date back to 1939, then a second series began in 1976 and 1977, and thereafter (except for the years interrupted by COVID) the show has been held every other year. The focused theme of the 2025 event will be “Connecting Buyers and Sellers” and past gatherings have attracted thousands of visitors from all 25 coal-producing states as well as international locations.
“The historic deregulatory actions, announced recently by the EPA and the President, will have a massive effect on the future of the coal industry, and is great news for West Virginia and Virginia as well as other regions of the country,” said Jeffrey Disibbio, president and CEO, Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias.
“This will provide an enormous boost to our show…[and] we are looking forward very much to providing a ‘very hearty welcome’, for which Bluefield is renowned, to all those travelling to the show from the nation’s coalfields and beyond.”
