West Virginia-based Swanson Industries announced today that David Brightbill has been appointed chief executive officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brightbill, an accomplished business leader who has been engaged in the global mining and metals industry throughout his 35-year career, spent more than 20 years at Nalco. He most recently led the global mining operations to a consistent record of improved operating results through acquisitions and organic growth. Under his leadership, Nalco\u2019s mining operations further penetrated the global markets with expansion in Latin America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
