Motion Industries Inc.<\/a>, a distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts, and a premier provider of industrial technology solutions, signed a definitive purchase agreement to acquire the operating assets of Canadian-based Stoney Creek Hydraulics. The transaction is expected to close at the end of October, subject to customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1998, Stoney Creek Hydraulics specializes in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder manufacture\/repair. Cylinders are built according to customer blueprints or designed by the engineering team to meet a customer application\u2019s specific requirements. Repair services include cylinder inspection, machining and testing with precision. The company is named for its location in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
