The new and improved arrangement includes larger pad cartridges to enhance durability and a reinforced point of connection between the pads and cradle frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Superior\u2019s engineers, the Conveyor Impact Cradle is a modern redesign of the traditional impact bed. While both products absorb the force of falling material to prevent damage to conveyor belts, the Impact Cradle is specifically engineered to address common shortcomings associated with the design of traditional impact beds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Curved bed fully supports belting, leaving no gaps to trap fugitive material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pads are easy to slide on or off cradle frame in tight, hard to access transition zones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No special tools required, which speeds installation and maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-piece pads made from a special urethane to reduce friction and enhance cushioning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to these redesigned features, Superior\u2019s Impact Cradle is newly available in two more pre-engineered models: medium and heavy duty are now available in addition to the standard model, which was first introduced to conveyor owners in 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Superior Industries Inc. unveiled a revised design of its popular Conveyor Impact Cradle.
