Precious and base metals developer Adriatic Metals has appointed Laura Tyler as managing director and chief executive officer. Tyler has served as Interim CEO since 9 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Board has undertaken an extensive search for Adriatic\u2019s next leader and is pleased to announce [Laura Tyler\u2019s] appointment as the Board\u2019s unanimous choice. Laura has an abundance of experience in underground, polymetallic mining operations and executive leadership roles over a 35-year career,\u201d said Michael Rawlinson, chairman of Adriatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThrough stepping into the role of Interim CEO, Laura has demonstrated that she has the skills, vision and values to bring the Vares silver operation to nameplate capacity and develop Adriatic as one of the leading mining companies in Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adriatic Metals is focused on the development of the 100%-owned, Vares high-grade silver operation in Bosnia & Herzegovina, and exploration at the Raska base and precious metals project in Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
