Superior Industries<\/a> has had a busy spring quarter in terms of new releases to the mining industry \u2013 or, in these cases, new versions of products already well entrenched in the company\u2019s product line-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April, the Minnesota-based system supplier announced the availability of its newly redesigned Chevron Pulley in abrasion-resistant (AR) steel.<\/p>\n\n\n

The use of abrasion-resistant steel in manufacturing of conveyor pulleys enhances their durability, noted Superior, especially in applications handling aggressively wearing bulk materials. This reduces maintenance costs, improves operational efficiency, and ensures consistent performance in demanding environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another recent design update, Superior has removed the rounded cap on the wings for standard CEMA and Mine Duty models. Now, the entire wing is a wearable feature, which significantly increases the lifespan of the Chevron Pulley in all applications. The rounded wing caps are still optional for Mine Duty models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, Superior launched its newest iteration of the TeleStacker Conveyor PilePro Automation, version 14.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the notable changes is the introduction of an updated touchscreen, boasting a higher resolution to enhance visibility in outdoor settings. Additionally, the screen\u2019s protective housing has been fortified to withstand fluctuations in temperature more effectively, ensuring great performance in various conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also new, each screen is now loaded with an on-demand view of the owner\u2019s manual. A PDF viewer provides screen-specific instructions from the owner\u2019s manual for each step in the automation user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upgraded technology applies to all new TeleStacker Conveyors, effective March 1. Owners and operators can upgrade their existing conveyors by contacting their local dealer or Superior\u2019s Aftermarket Parts department directly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
