Surge Battery Metals has concluded an entry and exploration agreement with the Salmon River Cattlemen’s Association (SRCA) that extends permission for Surge to commence drilling and other surface use on the parcels of SRCA private ground as the miner advances the Nevada North Lithium project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surge holds fractional (25%) ownership of the sub-surface mineral rights of the parcels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The miner intends to drill four reverse circulation holes on the SRCA parcels to test extensions of high-grade lithium mineralization outlined in previous Surge drilling to the north of the private parcel and high grade soil geochemistry (>1,000 ppm Li).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also intends to drill another four holes on claims held by Surge as well as claims with its joint venture partner M3 Metals. Drilling is scheduled to start by the end of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are happy to have come to an agreement with the Salmon River Cattlemen’s Association and look forward to actively working together as we advance the NNLP project,\u201d said CEO Greg Reimer. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur 2024 program will be bold and will take big step outs to the west and south, growing the mineralization footprint as much as possible prior to our 2025 exploration program.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nevada North Lithium project is located southeast of Jackpot, Nev. It has a pit-constrained Inferred Resource containing an estimated 4.67 Mt of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent grading 2,839 ppm Li at a 1,250 ppm cutoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
