It\u2019s arrived. <\/strong>The countdown clock on the show web site has reached zero. After nearly a year of planning, the inaugural West Virginia Coal Show<\/a> is a reality. Being held in conjunction with the 50th West Virginia Coal Association Symposium<\/a>, both promise to energize and excite \u2013 even for those who couldn\u2019t make it here to join us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As we first said when we initially announced this unprecedented show in 2023, the coal industry has changed, and now is the time for coal shows to change, too. The future of coal is being decided now. Looking around, we hope you\u2019ll see many faces you know, along with many more you do not. We hope the next two days will allow for many hands to shake, elbows to rub, business deals to be done, and leads to be generated. Don\u2019t forget to have a little fun while you\u2019re here in Charleston, too, checking out this brand-new facility and taking friends and clients out to one of the city\u2019s many restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We want to take a moment to thank our partners in this exciting endeavor, including the West Virginia Coal Association, the staff at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, and the teams at CoalZoom, Mining People, Friends of Coal and Friends of Coal Auxiliary, The West Virginia Coal Mining Institute, Coal and Quarry Miner Exchange, West Virginia University Mining and Industrial Extension, the West Virginia Training and Conference Center and Burgex Mineralocity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We also want to thank every booth vendor that has packed the exposition hall to the absolute corners; we could not have seen the ribbon cut on this expo without you.
