MSHA has released more information on the metal\/nonmetal and coal mine rescue competitions for 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
While some have already been held, the next event, the Colorado Mine Rescue Contest, will convene at Craig Middle School in Craig, Colo., from June 14-17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Virginia Mining Institute will hold its competition at the Blacksburg Park and Recreation Community Center in, Blacksburg, Va., from Aug. 3-5.
From Aug. 16-19, the Rocky Mountain Mine Rescue Association\u2019s event will be held at the Carbon County Event Center in Price, Utah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following month will see the Missouri Regional Mine Rescue Contest, which is set to take place Sept. 27-30 in Rolla, Mo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, from Oct. 19-20, the West Virginia Mine Rescue Alliance Mine Rescue Skills Contest will take place at the National Mine Academy in Beaver, W.Va.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
