At Long Last, The Nevada Event Returns For Its 35th Gathering.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite a one-year postponement in June 2020 due to the global pandemic, the Elko Mining Expo is back, albeit with a few changes to procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Elko Convention and Visitors Authority (ECVA) said its 35th annual exposition is scheduled from June 7-11 at the Elk Convention Center with the mining exhibits set to open the morning of June 10. Registration will be required in 2021, versus previous years when the event was open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An opening reception will be held for those attending on June 9 at 6 p.m., and guests will have June 10 and 11 (from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., respectively) to visit the booths on the show floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration limits have been set for safety on the show floor, and face coverings will be worn. At press time, 312 vendors were registered for booths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are committed to creating a safe event for all and, as such, anticipate this year\u2019s expo will look a bit different from previous years,\u201d the ECVA said of Elko 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile we are disappointed circumstances beyond our control have forced these changes, we are excited the Expo will happen and strongly feel it will still greatly benefit the community,\u201d Matt McCarty, ECVA board chairman, told local media outlet Elko Daily earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While at the Elko Mining Expo, look around for the following companies and check out the product and services at their respective booths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IWT<\/span><\/strong>
Innovative Wireless Technologies (IWT) said it is \u201cexcited to see our mining friends face-to-face again.\u201d The engineering solutions provider has been busy with new and exciting mining innovations to improve safety and productivity. J.H. Fletcher<\/span><\/strong>
J.H. Fletcher & Co. will be exhibiting the Mine Scout supervision vehicle. The model is part of a complete fleet of utility vehicles offered by Fletcher, in conjunction with UV Botswana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mine Scout is designed to help reduce operational service time. The vehicle is capable of transporting two staff members who are frequently between surface and underground operations, and includes a storage bed for transporting tools and parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit booths 436 and 437 to learn more about the Mine Scout and other Fletcher products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maptek<\/span><\/strong>
Visit Maptek during the 2021 Elko Mining Expo at booth 110.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
