Pennsylvania-based ASGCO announced in December 2020 that it had added the U-Scrape secondary belt cleaner to its product line-up of secondary cleaner solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The design of the U-Scrape is in the name; it has a unique U shape that conforms to the belt\u2019s return side, allowing the blade to maintain maximum pressure on the belt\u2019s center and thus collect the most build-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blade is offered in two options: solid urethane or with tungsten carbide tips embedded in urethane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The U-Scrape belt cleaner is ideal for use in conveyor bulk material handling applications in coal and coal-fired power plants, aggregates, recycling, wastewater treatment, pulp and paper, and chemical processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
