Maxam Mining Group has added the new MS412 27.00R49 mining haulage tire to its open-pit mining, quarry and OTR program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The company said the tire was designed for mine site use worldwide, featuring a high net-to-gross tread pattern that lends itself to low wear rates and increased tire life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MS412 also has strategically placed stone ejectors to provide maximum protection from stone drilling, a top cause of premature tire removal and out-of-service conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enable operation at high speeds but with minimum heat build-up, Maxam also has optimized the tire\u2019s base compound to maximize productivity. It also has an all-steel casing to prevent punctures and thus further reduce costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
