Reynolds Soil Technologies (RST) recently expanded its services to include comprehensive dust control solutions for both underground mining and tunneling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The company said the move was in response to industry demand for preventative measures to suppress dust emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRST has developed advanced methods for sealing loose dust to walls and roofs as well as roads and hardstand areas for longer periods of time, reducing the need for ongoing watering programs,\u201d said David Handel, RST operations and technical director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBy targeting specific areas and activity with customized products and applications, RST assists operators of underground mines and tunnelling activities to successfully manage their dust emission challenges while delivering significant operational benefits, personnel protection and regulatory compliance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s suppression methods are customized and involve specialized chemistry that is based on the determining factors of material type, water quality, application procedures, duration and durability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
