California technology provider GroundHog has launched its newest application, GroundHog Construction Crews, designed specifically for construction crews working in underground mines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new app streamlines communication and collaboration by allowing crew members in construction, electrical and I&T to access real-time information about work items on their pass-down sheets (also called PLODs in Australia) for a number of actions, such as installing pumps to clear water in production areas, extending ventilation, installing Wi-Fi access points to new work areas and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can line-out the crew; set and track the priorities and track progress updates; and users can take pictures to verify the completion of work orders to spec. In addition, the app works on online and offline modes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Construction Crew app is built on the widely deployed GroundHog Short Interval Control and Fleet Management System and is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
