Canadian-based Centerra Gold has joined the Coalition of Energy Efficient Comminution (CEEC) as a sponsor. The miner\u2019s sponsorship is to accelerate energy and water efficiencies, and is part of a vision \u201cto build a team-based culture of excellence that responsibly delivers sustainable value and growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Centerra Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Daniel Desjardins praised CEEC for contributions toward ESG actions in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The miner has operational assets in Canada, the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey. Its Mount Milligan mine has the distinction of being the first large new operation in British Columbia in a generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
