Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America has released its Galaxy LDSR 510, a new, all-steel dozer and loader radial for surface mining in sizes 17.5R25, 20.5R25 and 23.5R25. The non-directional tread pattern provides \u201coutstanding traction\u201d in both forward and reverse, \u201cenhancing efficiency\u201d in digging, loading and carrying operations, said Dhananjay Bisht, product manager \u2013 earthmoving, construction and industrial tires for Yokohama Off-Highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Galaxy LDSR 510 also features high turn-up carcass construction, which increases lateral stiffness in the sidewall without compromising the benefits of the large, even footprint and low rolling resistance from radial design,\u201d said Bisht. \u201cThe sidewalls are also reinforced against cuts and damage, which is important in rock mining and quarry operations, and delivering a stable, comfortable ride.
