Canadian junior Bayhorse Silver has commenced milling operations at its newly upgraded mill facility in Payette, Idaho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The 50- to 60-ton-per-day facility now has an additional grinding mill, providing a grind and regrind capacity to ensure an optimal 80-micron grind size. Bayhorse has also added three stages of dewatering and fines recovery, and a precipitation circuit to enable tailings to be recycled into eco-blocks and reduce dissolved contaminants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silver and copper enriched pre-processed mineralized material from the Steinert ore sorter at the nearby Bayhorse silver mine in Oregon is now being processed into concentrate. The end product will fulfill its silver offtake agreement with Ocean Partners UK, which is for delivery of the first 300 t of silver concentrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDespite the challenges provided by government COVID restrictions during the past two years \u2026 [we] have persevered in completing the mill upgrading and bringing it back online to continue our processing capabilities in record time,\u201d said Bayhorse CEO Graeme O’Neill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
