Blast engineering and consulting firm R.A. McClure, Inc. (RAM) has announced the dates for its Blasting and Explosives Safety Training (BEST) Course, to be held Sept. 15-17, 2026, at the Crazy Horse Memorial in Crazy Horse, S.D. <\/p>\n\n\n

The in-person event features a blend of in-class instruction and field trips to the Crazy Horse Memorial and Mt. Rushmore throughout the two-and-a-half-day conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by instructors with decades of practical experience in their respective fields, the BEST Course instructs attendees on explosives regulations, safety, hazard recognition, and accident prevention. Instructors also provide an overview of new product introductions related to explosives and the latest on electronic blasting systems and supporting technologies. It dives deep into the safe handling of explosives and emphasizes the hazards posed by deteriorated explosives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
