<\/p>\n\n\nenCore Energy announced that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has renewed the source materials license for the Dewey Burdock in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium project in South Dakota for 20 years. With the issuance of the license, the project has received all necessary federal permits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The renewal of the source materials license follows the recent NRC issuance of the environmental assessment and the programmatic agreement. enCore also received the Bureau of Land Management\u2019s decision authorizing the Dewey Burdock uranium project to commence construction of infrastructure on portions of the project\u2019s BLM-managed public lands within the larger Dewey Burdock project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With all federal permits received, Dewey Burdock remains subject to additional permitting by the State of South Dakota. The company has commenced permitting efforts with the state, which are required before the project proceeds to full operational status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dewey Burdock is an advanced-stage uranium project comprising 10,580 acres, including 10,340 acres of private surface rights and 240 acres of BLM surface rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
