Maritana Minerals<\/strong> has appointed Elizabeth (Liz) Jones to the newly created role of chief operating officer as the company transitions into a standalone gold producer, effective August 26. She was most recently general manager of Ramelius Resources\u2019 Mt Magnet gold operations in Western Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis relevant leadership experience will be invaluable as we advance the company\u2019s development and production plans around the Black Swan Processing Hub in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jones comes to Maritana with over 30 years\u2019 experience in underground and open-pit operations, project delivery, technical services, optimization and safety leadership across the Western Australian gold industry. She holds a bachelor\u2019s in mining engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
