Continental\u2019s group sector ContiTech has unveiled VersaFlex, a next-generation single-ply conveyor belt engineered to deliver above-ground mining customers high strength and performance as well as maximum efficiency and uptime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VersaFlex, the company said, can both drive uptime and lower total cost of ownership, the one thing its customers value most, adding as well exceptional rip and tear resistance, a high-strength vulcanized splice and a lightweight carcass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VersaFlex also features an optimized finger splice design, creating superior vulcanized splice strength. The design is mechanical fastener-capable to offer added versatility in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VersaFlex single-ply product will be offered in ratings from 220 PIW to 550 PIW with a broad range of cover compounds to meet varying application and performance needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VersaFlex is available now through ContiTech\u2019s network of distribution and service partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
