Draslovka confirmed it has been selected to supply sodium cyanicde (NaCN) to the U.S.\u2019s largest gold mine, Barrick Mining\u2019s Nevada Gold Mines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NaCN is 100% American, produced in Memphis, Tenn., and handled in Carlin, Nev. The company said it underscores its strong position in the North American gold mining market and shores up a U.S. supply of NaCN at a time of unprecedented demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis contract reflects Barrick\u2019s confidence in the quality of Draslovka\u2019s NaCN and its ability to provide reliable supply to Nevada Gold Mines, ensuring uninterrupted capacity to process its ore,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

As part of the multi-year commitment, Draslovka will expand its existing NaCN handling terminal in Carlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pavel Bruzek Jr, CEO, said: \u201cThe crucial role played by NaCN is often overlooked as it represents only a few percent of a gold miner\u2019s recovery costs. However, without it, it is impossible to produce gold. The global NaCN market has been tightening for years due to a lack of new production capacity, which has only become more strained due to unprecedented demand for gold. I am proud that Draslovka is filling the supply gap with our premium product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
