Tony Davis<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Austmine announced the appointment of Tony Davis as chief executive officer, effective April 1. Following his appointment, Vanessa Haberland will transition from Interim CEO to chief operating officer, continuing to support organizational delivery and member outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davis joins Austmine with more than 30 years of senior executive experience across government and mining-related industrial, energy and advanced manufacturing sectors, with a strong focus on supporting Australian capability in global markets. Most recently, he served as executive general manager \u2013 The Americas at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTony brings a powerful combination of international trade leadership, deep industrial sector experience and proven organizational transformation capability,\u201d Austmine Chair Dr. Dallas Wilkinson said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt a time when Australia\u2019s METS sector is central to global supply chains, critical minerals development and the energy transition, Tony\u2019s experience across international markets and government engagement will further strengthen Austmine\u2019s advocacy, global positioning and value to members.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahead of his start date, Davis will begin working closely with Austmine\u2019s board of directors and leadership team as part of his transition into the chief executive role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
