Turner Mining Group<\/strong> has won a multi-year mining services contract with Minera Alamos for its Pan Operating Complex in Nevada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new fleet of mining equipment was mobilized to the site on January 1, after assembling and commissioning new equipment and dispatching crews over the holiday season while maintaining targeted production rates and limiting disruption to ongoing operations, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the next several years, Turner will support operations as Minera Alamos ramps up production roughly 40% in combined ore and waste mining rates throughout this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turner said that the new partnership goes beyond the Pan mine; the site sits just seven miles from Minera Alamos’ Gold Rock deposit, and there is potential to integrate that operation as early as next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO Keaton Turner said that, for Turner Mining Group, this relationship is about building something that lasts, creating stable work, and proving what happens when you commit to doing things right over the long haul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNevada remains a cornerstone of gold mining in the United States, and this new relationship with Minera Alamos at Pan Mine reflects our confidence in the state’s resources, workforce, and mining infrastructure,” he said. \u201cThis project represents a long-term investment in Nevada, and it reinforces the importance of strong operating partnerships like the one we have built with Minera Alamos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support Pan Mine’s production ramp-up, Turner partnered with Wheeler Machinery Company (Wheeler Cat) to commission a brand-new fleet of first-life Caterpillar equipment. Wheeler Cat built out the fleet: 777 haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and drills. Wheeler Cat will keep the equipment running strong as operations continue to scale up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAn investment in new, first-life mining equipment and technology means we are capturing maximum efficiency, reliability and fleet availability from day one, lowering the mine\u2019s cost-per-ton,\u201d said Turner.  He also noted that it plans to hire local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Added Patton Deischer, chief business officer: \u201cThese aren’t temporary positions. This multi-year contract means stable jobs and real opportunities for career growth. We are excited to be a good neighbor and active part of Ely’s mining economy for decades to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
