Copper Mountain Mining\u2019s flagship operation, the Copper Mountain operation in southern British Columbia, has installed and started the commissioning process for its third ball mill that will increase its milling capacity from 40,000 tonnes per day to 45,000 t\/d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Company president and CEO Gil Clausen said the work has been on schedule and electrical commissioning has commenced. The next stage is to introduce slurry into the mill, which will occur in October, followed by a ramp up to full production levels \u2013 which will happen this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is the first step in our multi-phase growth plans to achieve our vision to triple our annual production rate from 2020 levels in the next five years,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur development plan of our low cost and high ROIC projects includes continuing to expand the Copper Mountain mine, advancing our Eva Copper Project in Australia and continued exploration on all of our properties.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Copper Mountain operation, located near Princeton, is 75% held by Copper Mountain Mining. It currently produces approximately 100 million pounds of copper equivalent per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
