Family-owned BEUMER Group<\/strong> said it is celebrating its 90th anniversary, all while also reporting that 2024 was the most successful financial year in its history thanks to its innovations and partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company said its order intake for all of least year was 1.39 billion euros, which it attributed to a long-term independent strategy that it has scaled globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRather than pursuing short-term profit maximisation, the intralogistics specialist is committed to sustainable growth. This is based on quality leadership, innovation and a strong international presence,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe company\u2019s motto \u2018Made Different\u2019 represents an independent approach; [we focus] on stability, reliability and collaborative partnerships, setting [us] apart from current mainstream trends.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

BEUMER noted that, as it celebrates the milestone, it has four key values that have helped guide it: reliable, down-to-earth, ambitious and collaborative. It also noted that it expects a further significant increase in order intake for the 2025 financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company, which said it strategically invests in new technologies, digital business models, and the continuous development of its portfolio, pointed to its recent integration of the companies Codept and Elara as an example. Both emerged from BEUMER\u2019s company builder, BEAM. \u201cGlobalisation is another important factor in the company\u2019s success and helps it to remain resilient in a volatile global economy,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNine decades of BEUMER Group demonstrate a willingness to repeatedly break new ground and seize opportunities courageously,\u201d added Dr. Christoph Beumer, BEUMER Group\u2019s advisory board chairman. Since its foundation in 1935, BEUMER Group has evolved from a local machine factory in Beckum to become a leading global provider of intralogistics systems, with around 40 companies operating worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BEUMER opens Chinese manufacturing facility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Material handling supplier BEUMER Group<\/strong> has opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Taicang, China, marking a major expansion of the company\u2019s presence in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A grand opening ceremony was held on December 10, a date which coincided with BEUMER China\u2019s 20th anniversary and the BEUMER Group\u2019s 90th anniversary globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company said the high-tech plant, which sits on a land area of about 33,350 square meters and has manufacturing space of about 23,000 sq. m. across two workshops, will significantly enhance its global production capabilities and underscores the family-owned company\u2019s long-term commitment to the Chinese market.<\/p>\n\n\n

Construction of the campus was completed quickly \u2013 just 12 months \u2013 from the start of ground works in July 2024 to the handover in June 2025. The new site is now fully integrated into BEUMER\u2019s global manufacturing network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of establishing this new base, BEUMER said it also set up two new wholly owned foreign enterprises (WOFE) in Taicang, China, to anchor its expanded operations. \u201cThis opening is a proud moment for our team in China and for BEUMER Group as a whole,\u201d said Rudolf Hausladen, CEO. \u201cAs a family-owned business, we think in decades, not quarters, and this investment reflects our confidence in the continued growth and long-term partnership with our customers and the community here in China.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established in 2005, BEUMER\u2019s presence in China began with delivering a single product line. Over the past two decades, the company\u2019s footprint in China has expanded steadily into a comprehensive organization that delivers a full portfolio of solutions across multiple industries, including airport baggage handling systems, logistics systems and overland conveyor systems, as well as equipment for the cement, minerals, and mining sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hausladen noted that the foundation built over the past 20 years in China has been critical to the company\u2019s success: \u201cOur journey in China has always been about building trust and delivering excellence.
