U.S.-based gold producer Fortitude Gold has received all approvals from the Bureau of Land Management and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection to construct and operate the County Line gold project located in both Mineral and Nye counties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe would like to thank the federal and state agencies for completing the permit approvals for our County Line project. While the permitting delays associated with the previous administration have been difficult, we have seen significant positive changes when engaging with both the federal and state permitting agencies,\u201d said Fortitude Gold CEO and President Jason Reid.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is positive in that we have multiple permits currently moving through the regulatory system and have plans to file additional requests over the coming quarter and years. We look forward to building our second Nevada mine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

County Line is located 16 miles northeast of Fortitude Gold\u2019s Isabella Pearl gold mine, accessible via Nevada State Route 361. The company has noted that the mining project has a minimal environmental footprint and requires limited infrastructure. It includes the expansion of two existing historic open pits and an existing waste rock storage facility, low- and high-grade ore stockpiles, access roads, a mobile crushing facility, and exploration drilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortitude plans to mine the mineralization at County Line and transport it to the nearby Isabella Pearl operation, utilizing the existing heap leach pad and gold processing facilities. The company targets an annualized run rate of approximately 20,000 ounces of gold from County Line over two years, with expansion potential from drilled mineralization not included in the resource and untested drill targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
