Motion Industries has announced a joint venture partnership with Tagodi Development Corp., a resource contracting firm that invests in the local Tahltan Nation in northern British Columbia, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An agreement was recently signed to deliver economic and operational benefits to the community and all involved. The largest focus will be in the mining sector, a major portion of this region\u2019s industrial landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motion noted it is dedicated to working alongside Indigenous peoples and their communities in British Columbia and beyond, cultivating enduring, trust-based partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, the partnership will:
\u2022 Support mutual goals for Truth & Reconciliation, including economic prosperity.
\u2022 Help build sustainable communities and create economic opportunities, including employment and skill development for the Tahltan People.
\u2022 Foster collaboration with local experts to support mining operation growth in northern British Columbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jerry Asp, president of Tagodi Development Corporation and Tahltan Elder, said: \u201cMy family is very pleased to have entered into a joint venture with Motion. I believe we will be able to deliver a new level of service to the Tahltan Nation and the mining industry in Tahltan Traditional Territory.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
