Equinox Gold and Calibre Mining have successfully completed the previously announced merger<\/strong><\/a>, creating an Americas-focused diversified gold producer with a portfolio anchored by two Canadian gold mines: Greenstone and Valentine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Valentine mine, which is in Newfoundland & Labrador, is in the final stages of construction and plant commissioning, with first gold expected by the end of the third quarter of 2025. With Greenstone and Valentine at nameplate capacity, Equinox Gold will become the second largest gold producer in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
