Tecweigh has launched a new line of high-accuracy belt scales designed for the demanding requirements of the mining industry, including mineral and coal applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new HDS (Heavy-Duty S-Type Loadcell) Belt Scale series offers customers a rugged and reliable solution for replacing aging or unsupported equipment. The OEM said it fills a gap left by a legacy belt scale manufacturer that unexpectedly exited the market in 2023. Tecweigh designed the HDS for durability and precision, featuring a full-floating scale frame supported by four S-Type load cells and available in 1-4 idler configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tecweigh equipped each HDS belt scale with onboard static calibration weights, which operators can safely engage or disengage during conveyor operation to maximize efficiency without sacrificing safety or accuracy. The entire line is manufactured at Tecweigh\u2019s headquarters in St. Paul, Minn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
