ABD Solutions, which provides end-to-end retrofit technologies that enable the automation of conventional vehicle and equipment fleets, said the pairing will be powered by Mining3\u2019s extensive global mining network. \u201cDrawing on extensive experience from the automotive sector \u2013 where rigorous test track conditions and a wide range of vehicle models are the norm \u2013 ABD Solutions has advanced its robotic driving technology by developing a rugged, IP67-rated system built for off-road use,\u201d the company said. \u201cThis retrofittable solution enables rapid automation of any vehicle equipped with a steering wheel and pedals, offering the mining industry a transformative opportunity to bridge automation gaps across legacy and mixed fleets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ABD Managing Director Rory Grunerud additionally called the collaboration a \u201cmajor milestone\u201d that will be \u201cthe fastest route to innovation and delivering a truly superior product\u201d for mining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
