{"id":1035,"date":"2021-09-03T17:51:09","date_gmt":"2021-09-03T17:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/northamericanmining.com\/?p=1035"},"modified":"2021-09-20T14:05:33","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T14:05:33","slug":"valvoline-launches-all-terrain-for-off-highway-heavy-duty-diesels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northamericanmining.com\/index.php\/2021\/09\/03\/valvoline-launches-all-terrain-for-off-highway-heavy-duty-diesels\/","title":{"rendered":"Valvoline launches All-Terrain for off-highway, heavy-duty diesels"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Valvoline has addressed the needs of heavy-duty engines with a new product it released in mid-July, Valvoline All-Terrain for off-highway, heavy-duty diesel engines operating in severe conditions and extreme duty cycles.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1178\" src=\"http:\/\/northamericanmining.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Valvoline_All_Terrain_Product.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"361\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Edward Murphy, PhD, Valvoline senior group leader &#8211; heavy-duty formulations, said the oil was designed for the heavy-duty diesel engine that needs superior wear production, especially in extreme conditions and high idle times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All-Terrain offers wear protection in extreme load regimes, enhanced viscosity and oxidation stability, additional bearing and piston focused protection, and helps protect from particulate and moisture contaminants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was tested in 25,000 hours of field trials among real fleets operating in mining and agriculture with extreme duty cycles.
